Board Certified Assistant Analyst (BCaBA)
Status: Exempt
Reports to: Clinical Director of Programs
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated BCaBA to work under the guidance of a BCBA. This work will include providing behavioral services while supervising RBT Job Coaches and Job Coaches earning their RBT credential across different company locations within an assigned territory. Under the direction of the BCBA, the BCaBA will complete behavior assessments using the Vineland-III while assisting to address interfering behaviors for participants while they are learning functional job replacement skills. Our organization supports adults with intellectual disabilities. We serve adults with disabilities and/or other disorders impacting quality of life concerns while helping individuals connect with employment and meaningful life pursuits connected to employment opportunities. We apply ABA to effectuate change with individuals impacted by diagnoses that can include mild to severe intellectual disabilities, Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, dual diagnoses, and/or any developmental disorder.
Education:
• Must have Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field and must have completed a BCaBA course sequence.
• Must have obtained the BCaBA credential from the BACB and must have current standing.
Essential Functions:
Assists and conducts functional behavior assessments under the direction of the designated BCBA.
Assists and writes behavior support plans and programs under the direction of the BCBA.
Corrects, reviews, and updates behavior support plans under the direction of the BCBA.
Assists with electronic data collection and supervises RBT staff members in the field.
Reviews client notes drafted by RBT Job Coaches that documents services, provides feedback, and completes IOA data collection with RBT staff during site visits for reporting purposes.
Defines all target behaviors in objective and measurable terms with appropriate data collection as captured by the electronic data system to measure interfering behaviors and skill acquisition behaviors.
Conducts biweekly supervision visits while measuring interfering behavior(s) with data and skill acquisition programming that are relevant to participant goals
Provides and oversees RBT Job Coaches with requisite supervision hours for RBT Job Coaches to maintain their RBT credentials with monthly supervision requirements.
Conducts some new hire orientation training as well as some in-service training for RBT Job Coach Staff members.
The BCaBA will complete other duties as assigned by the supervising BCBA.
Additional Essential Functions:
• Provide RBT training and supervision for staff members.
• Collaborates with all clinical professional team members internally and externally while demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic affect. • The BCaBA applies principle of ABA when analyzing and solving problems while documenting participant behaviors as related to funding source requirements.
Required Skills:
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
Should have one year of clinical experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities
Pass a background check and TB test
Valid California Driver’s license
